Welcome Back!

Welcome back Broncos!

We hope you and your family had a restful and joyful winter break filled with time to recharge and reconnect. As we begin this new year together, we are excited to welcome our students back to campus and jump into the second half of the school year.

January is an important time for growth, reflection, and renewed focus. Our teachers and staff are ready to support students as they continue building strong academic habits, setting new goals, and stretching themselves both in and out of the classroom. This semester brings continued learning, opportunities to celebrate progress, and important milestones as we work toward spring assessments and end-of-year success.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support. When families and schools work together, our students thrive. Please be sure to read through this newsletter for important updates, upcoming events, and ways to stay connected.

Here's to a strong start and a successful 2026- we're excited for what's ahead!

Extra Practice At Home

Thank you for sharing your feedback in our recent survey! Many parents asked for ways to help students practice at home, and we’re excited to provide those resources. While we don’t assign traditional homework—because it often doesn’t get completed or gets misplaced—we want to make sure families have helpful tools to reinforce learning. Starting this month, we’ll share digital copies of practice activities and also send them home with students each week. These resources are designed to support classroom learning and help students feel confident as they prepare for STAAR.

Each subject has a color that will coordinate with the printed sheet they will receive.

Attendance Matters

Attendance matters in middle school because learning builds every day. Each class period introduces new skills, concepts, and practice that students need to succeed academically. When students are absent, they miss instruction that is difficult to replace and can quickly fall behind. Regular attendance helps students stay engaged, master grade-level content, and develop the habits needed for success in high school and beyond.

Students who are present every day from Monday, January 12- Friday, January 30 will receive a snow cone the following week!
