Marshall Kendrick Middle School opened its doors at 3001 Watters Road in Pasadena in 2015 with Melissa Messenger as its principal. The school is named after long-serving Pasadena ISD Board of Trustees member, Marshall Kendrick.
During the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in 2017, some of the homes of Kendrick’s students were damaged or destroyed. Luckily, the building did not experience significant damage. The enrollment throughout the years has remained fairly consistent and 765 students are now enrolled at the campus.
