School Supplies

Kendrick Middle School
5th Grade Supply List
2017-2018

These supplies need to be turned in to your Homeroom Teacher:

1. 2 boxes of Kleenex (100 ct)
2. 8 Glue Sticks
3. 2 sets of Colored Pencils
4. 2 bottle of Glue 
5. 1 pair of Scissors (no primary scissors)
6. 1 package of Construction paper
7. 2 packages of Lined Index Cards (3 ½ x 5)
8. 1 bottle of Hand Sanitizer
9. 1 package of Pens (blue or black)
10. 2 packages of Markers
11. 4 packages of Wide Ruled Notebook paper  
12. 3 packages of Post-It Notes
13. 2 Red Pens        
14. 2 highlighters (1 yellow, 1 other color) 
15. 2 pink erasers
16. Pencil Sharpener with shaving catcher
17. 48 pencils 

The following supplies should be carried with the students to every class every day:

1. Clear or Mesh Backpack (optional) **solid backpacks are prohibited
2. School planner/agenda (provided by the campus)
3. 1 3-inch binder
4. 1 set of dividers
5. 1 pair of earbuds/headphones
6. Pencils (to be carried in zipper pouch)
7. Blue/Black Pens (to be carried in zipper pouch)
8. Zipper Pouch
9. USB Flash Drive (1G minimum memory required)

The following supplies are requested by specific Core Content Classes:

Science: History:
1. 3 rolls of Paper Towels (turned in) 1.    2 Composition Notebooks
2. 2 Composition Notebooks 2.    2 two-pocket folders

Math: ELAR:
1. 3 Composition Notebooks 1.    1 two-pocket folder with brads
2. 2 two-pocket folders with brads 2.    2 Composition Notebooks

**If your child is in a Special Program (SUCCESS or ABLE), separate Supply Lists will be sent home on the 1st day of school.  You are not required to purchase the above items.              
**Elective Classes will send home a supply list on the first day of school. 
**Individual teachers may require an additional binder to be kept in their room at all times.  This information will be sent home on the first day of school.
